SpliceCom's VoIP phone system is a software PBX so doesn't have to have it's own dedicated hardware - you can host the VoIP phone system on your own cloud server, on your existing server as a virutal machine or on a dedicated box or have a mix of all 3 and have a hybrid solution. Whichever you choose, the VoIP phone system supports both IP and analogue phones, analogue phones need dedicated phone modules.
It can be a distributed, networked system, you put the VoIP phone system or phone modules where you need the phones. It doesn't matter how big the system is, whether it's 4 users or 100,000, the whole
network/system is simply managed via a web browser.
While this makes the VoIP phone system ideal for campus environments and for organisations with offices in geographically different locations, be
that in the UK or Worldwide, it is just as happy residing in a single building and has features that make our VoIP phone system solutiion an excellent choice for multi-tenancy buildings.

PCS60 for MAC allows you can see what is happening with your phone and others on the VoIP phone system, log what has happened on your phone, as well as make calls. It also comes in several different
versions, each having enhanced features for their particular suited environment.
PCS60 can also be used as an IP softphone, allowing you to turn your PC into a softphone and still retain
the advantages that PCS60 provides, whilst the Operators Console provides features better suited to a receptionist/operator role.

We believe our Call Centre solution is the best call centre package available as the people behind the previously dominant SDX teamed up with those from Network Alchemy to form SpliceCom. The SpliceCom Vision Call Centre has been able to take 20 years market leading experience and move it into the Internet age, making it the natural successor.
Depending on what information you want to be able to generate and the features and functionality you require from your call centre, depends on whether you want to opt for the full call centre package or not. Both options provide call recording and logging, real-time wallboards and mobility options.
The full call centre package offers increased functionality and options, such as increased reporting options so you can see how your employees are performing, as well as your departments and check whether you are hitting company defined SLAs.
All this is provided via a simple browser-based user interface, meaning you don't need to install any additional software.

The basic call logging and recording package can automatically produce reports for departmental / visitor / tenant phone bills based on inbound / outbound calls but it is far more useful than that. Popular reports show wether you're paying for too many or too few trunks and a list of the calls you have missed that day - emailed to you so your team can call them back.
Do you know how many calls you are answering / how long it takes to answer / who is doing all the work? Basic Vision Reporting that is FREE with every new SpliceCom SV1000 system answers those questions, and provides you regular updates on how you and your team are performing.

Call Centre software comes in two parts, displaying real-time information on wallboards so everyone can see what is happening and reporting on departmental/team/individual agent behaviour.
Buying a cheap call centre phone system can be very expensive as you will probably out grow its capabilities in a year. As with many things in IT, the differences between phone systems are getting smaller, however when it comes to Call Centre functionality many systems claim to offer the functionality when really it's just enhanced call logging with a basic wallboard thrown in. This will be fine for most people for the first 6 months, possibly a year, when you want to get detailed information on individual staff your system may not be able to deliver.
