Phone Manager

Avaya Phone Manager allows you can see what is happening with your phone and others on the system, log what has happened on your phone, as well as make calls. It also comes in several different versions, each having enhanced features for their particular suited environment. The SoftPhone option allows you to turn your PC into a softphone and still retain the advantages that Phone Manager provides, whilst SoftConsole provides features better suited to a receptionist/operator role.

One-X Portal

Avaya One-X Portal allows better network integration with the phone system because it is web-based. This means it is ideally suited for use with Citrix/Thin Client environments as you are not having multiple copies of Phone Manager running, thus reducing the load on your servers.

One-X Portal still enjoys the benefits of Phone Manager, such as letting you see what is happening with your phone and others on the system, log what has happened on your phone, as well as make calls, but also offers a mobile app allowing you to use your mobile phone as your desk phone and integration with SalesForce.
