DON’T FALL INTO THE NORMAL TRAPS TRADITIONAL PHONE SYSTEMS INTRODUCE

Trap 1

Traditional phone systems need "special phones" that cost much more than normal ones. So as you grow you have to buy extra expensive phones, and as they can only come from one place you may have to pay a higher price later.

Our system uses normal phones, you can get them from the likes of Argos/Dixons/Comet/etc., and display ones saying the name & number of the caller are from just £ 25

Trap 2

With the Fax outside the system it needs its own line, this cost £ 160 pa now & so over the next 5 years (life of the system) it costs you an extra £ 800 (if BT don’t put their prices up).

On our system the fax keeps its number and becomes an extension, saving the line rental.

Trap 3

Internet connection for all PCs – This means you need a router (£ 200 - £ 1,000) and an ISDN line, the rental on that is at least £ 360 pa. Lets be conservative an say you don’t get that for 2 more years. So over the next 5 years it will cost you at least £ 200 for the router & £ 1,080 for the line rental.

Our system uses ISDN for voice calls and includes a router with firewall so nothing extra is needed.

Trap 4

Everyone will need his or her own e-mail. Again, you may say not now, but in the next couple of years it WILL happen & the computer boys will normally provide Microsoft Exchange or Small Business Server 5 user edition for £ 1000 plus set-up

We use an award winning e-mail server that cost just £ 90 for 10 users and is used by small and large businesses alike

Trap 5

Separate wiring for phones and computers, and only having the exact number of points of each type that you need. The result is every time you change your office you need to call the cablers back in to run more wire, or you make a trip hazard by having extension leads running all over the place.

We cable the office to CAT5e standards & normally run pairs of points to most locations, so you can have a phone & a PC or a couple of phones wherever you need them, as CAT5e wiring supports both phones & Computers


These traps could easily cost you £ 3,500 over the next 5 years


Reduce Line Rental: by better line usage with ISDN: fewer lines need than a separate voice / fax / data solution. The system not only brings phones and computers together but also enables you to control your phone lines from a single point. Many businesses have 1/3 more lines than their actually using at any one time such as Fax line, Internet line, the odd modem, Director’s private line. All these extra lines cost money, often more during the life of the traditional system with which they run than the system’s purchase price.


Expansion: Our solutions are modular, and do not need onsite engineers - as easily as plugging the expansion unit into the system and into mains and rebooting the system enables additional extensions to be accessible.


Better Management:

Phone Manager can be used in conjunction with any telephone to give Caller Display Telephone facilities and more.

No need to remember the specific Short Codes, you can easily enable / disable / check on extension features.

You have a call history including missed calls list. See who is waiting for you, on the phone, out of the office.

See the number of, and with a single click listen to, your Voicemail messages whether personal or for particular groups in the office.

See if a caller has phoned you on your direct line, the department or the main company number and be able to answer appropriately.

  • Far easier to use (no need to have to learn * keys and lookup codes in manuals)

  • Uses low cost carriers – make your calls for up to half the price of BT’s standard rates

  • Allows Voicemail messages to individuals or “dial 0” for a co-worker / divert to mobile

  • Diverts / transfers calls to another office (i.e. your subscriber line) or home workers

  • Has Voicemail installed on a single PC

  • Normally less expensive than ‘upgrading’ your existing equipment


Internet:

As communication systems, our solutions include a router and firewall - internet access to all network users through a secure connection without additional hardware, configuration or lines.

With just one Internet account any or all your PCs on your office network can access the Internet at the same time. Using the ISDN connection everything can happen over twice as fast when compared with a normal 28.8 modem, and with channel bonding speeds of 256kbs can be reached.


Click and Dial:

Many people use contact manager software and databases to hold information about clients and suppliers. TAPI (Telephony Application Programme Interface) provides the ability to click and dial applications such as Outlook, ACT!, Access etc. It is also possible to automatically “Pop” the customer record card when the customer phones in.


Home / Remote Users: We have smaller units that support from three or eight phones with TCP/IP network connectivity that are ideal for the small remote office or person working from home.This would give you internet connectivity, phone lines and fax lines.
