Services - Cabling

CTi have professional cablers available UK-wide to install CAT5e standard installations for both data and voice. Alternatively we can take-over existing telephone wiring, if required.

Modern telephone systems can use CAT5 wiring, originally designed to connect PCs together. The advantage of using CAT5 structured cabling is that as your office moves you would always have a pair of points close to any desk location. These points can be used for phone, fax, computer, printer, etc. giving you complete flexibility in office layout without the need to call in cablers for rewiring.

Traditional telephone systems used CAT3 cabling, or phone cable. If required and cable is of sufficient quality, we can re-utilise phone cable where these outlets only support voice.

Full site surveys or working from plans for fixed cost installations.

Varying grades of trunking, single, double or quadruple outlets, CAT5 cable installed to a patch panel presentation fully terminated and tested to CAT5 standards. Optional cabinet for patch panel and phone system installed. Weekends and out-of-hour installation can be arranged.
